ArrivedOK in not a flight tracker. It does not track flights. Instead it tracks mobile phones. Accordingly, ArrivedOK gets its information not from aviation resources but from the global GSM signaling network. As soon as one switches on his or her mobile phone after landing, ArrivedOK detects the phone’s appearance in one of the local GSM networks. That is ArrivedOK is a personal arrival tracker.

How it works

You plan a trip and enter ArrivedOK website to make a tracking order. You should, first of all, specify and validate your mobile number. ArrivedOK will be tracking an exact this phone when you land. Then you enter your destination and arrival time as it is stated in your ticket. Finally, you enter the list of your recipients, people whom you want to notify of your safe arrival.

The tracking order can be made from a personal computer or a mobile phone through a dedicated ArrivedOK mobile web site. When you land at your destination airport and turn on your mobile phone, it pops up in one of the local mobile networks. ArrivedOK detects it because the system is connected to the global mobile signaling network. First, it checks if the city you arrived in matches the city you declared in your tracking order. If it does, ArrivedOK dispatches notifications to your recipients and ends the tracking sending you a successful tracking confirmation by SMS.
