So, Apple and Google are slowly taking the advantage of carriers’ 3G channels to deliver the content (apps) from their markets to subscribers. Not only it makes carriers suffer, as they can’t capitalize this channel, it also leaves not so many options for mobile service providers, especially newcomers. It’s not easy for them to contact mobile operators without connections just to build a simple service, nor it’s a simple task to get into the development of applications for iOS and Android platforms.

Let’s say you charge them $1 per month for this opportunity to access social networks. That’s additional $8.000.000 of revenue.
